Enjoy a delightful stay at this charming waterfront cottage near the Glenora Ferry and Lake on the Mountain resort.  This is an excellent year-round accomodation and location for avid fishermen. Featuring 3 + 1 bedrooms; modern, fully equipped kitchen dining room & living room with fireplace and spectacular views of the water, Ballyshannon is a first choice for many who wish to enjoy a restful vacation in Prince Edward County. 

Upstairs you will enjoy the view from the “Juliet” balcony off the Master bedroom. The second bedroom is on this level. There is a small bedroom on the main level as well as the full bathroom. Downstairs is a 4th bedroom with a walkout to a small deck. This bedroom is accessed by a very small, circular staircase from the main part of the house and is not suitable for young children or anyone with limited mobility. 

Ballyshannon includes a queen size bed in the Master bedroom, twin beds in the second bedroom, a double brass bed in the main-floor bedroom and a brass cannonball double bed in the lower bedroom. All bedrooms have ceiling fans.

The deck overlooks the peaceful 105' waterfront and includes the use of a gas barbeque and outdoor dining area. There is also an outdoor, wood burning fireplace on a stone patio at the side of the house.

Glenora Ferry, Glenora Marina, fishing at your front door, Lake on the Mountain, Sandbanks, downtown Picton, Bloomfield, conservation areas, horseback riding nearby, the Regent Theatre, wineries, restaurants, spas, small boat rentals and much more.

Explore Prince Edward County, visit nearby attractions: the County is excellent for walking, water sports, cycling, angling and horseback riding. Golfers too can sample the 18 holes at Picton Golf course and many others in the nearby vicinities in and around the County. There are many fine courses for all calibre of golfers. Enjoy swimming at the Sandbanks, various wineries, Black River Cheese Factory, Macaulay Mountain Conservation Area, horseback riding, shopping and area festivals. Did we mention great fishing?? Be prepared for the best walleye/pickerel fishing in the country!

July and August $1,450 per week

Method of payment:
Cheque*, money order, bank draft, cash, e-mail transfer. 

(*cheques will be accepted only if dated and received a minimum of three (3) weeks prior to arrival date in order to clear bank.)

We require a 50% deposit to hold your reservation plus a $300 damage deposit. The full payment balance is due at least three (3) weeks prior to your arrival. 

In addition, there is a $75. refundable cleaning fee. Please leave the cottage clean and it will be refunded in full.

 In the event of cancellation, deposit is forfeited unless house can be re-rented for same period or greater. If re-rented, 75% of deposit is returned.

Weekly rental is from Saturday at 3pm to the next Saturday at 11am.

This home is not suitable for very young children  as it is located on the road to the ferry and has steep drop to the waterfront.

Well-behaved dogs may be considered welcome. Please enquire. (No cats please)
